Free education in public secondary education

Cap on redistribution. The platform of the Japanese Democratic Party is the beautiful share redistribution for the family and the poor at a time where the number of new poor explodes. For the DPJ, growth must be driven by internal demand and for export.

Annual cost estimated by its experts to 16,800 billion yen (125 billion euros), from 2012, the DPJ program must be funded in the interests and property of the State as well as by a more rigorous use of budgetary revenues. If this were not enough, the DPJ still has the possibility to issue more bonds despite an overall indebtedness of the Japan equivalent to two years of economic activity. Whatever the situation, it excludes any increase in VAT (currently 5) until 2013, date of the next election.

For families, the DPJ program includes:

-Allocation of 26,000 yen per month (190 euros) per child until his release from the College and an increase in the birth to 550,000 yen bonus.

-Free education in public secondary education.

-The removal of tolls for motorways and the reduction of taxes on gasoline.

To combat the pauperization of the population after the waves of dismissal of temporary workers in the past year:

The program in the direction of the business is less detailed. If it provides a reduction of 18 to 11 of the tax on small and medium-sized enterprises while ensuring their access to credit, on the other hand it remains fuzzy methods. Banks and other financial institutions will be further controlled by Parliament. They will be required to inform the diet of the State of their outstanding loans to prevent any change in ownership.

The other axis of the platform lies in foreign policy and intra-asiatiques relations. While recalling that an overly dependent economic policy of exporting to the United States has been at the origin of the strong current recession, the Party of Yukio Hatoyama shows more regional ambitions and excludes, to reassure Beijing, any visit to the the Yasukuni Shrine, a temple that is home to war criminals. In this context, the DPJ recommends:

-Greater autonomy from the United States and a strengthening of the Japanese presence on the international scene, without remission in issue of us-Japan security alliance.

-A reduction in the term, the number of bases and American soldiers (currently some 47,000).

-The development of relations with China, the Korea of the South and Asia in General.

-An attempt of settlement of the territorial dispute with the Russia about the Kuril Islands, occupied by Moscow since 1945.
